Information we receive

When you submit the project enquiry form we receive your name, work email, company and project description. Like most websites, our server may also log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and request time.

How we use it, and our legal basis

We use this information to respond to enquiries, scope requested services, operate and secure the website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information submitted through the enquiry form. Where a legal basis is required for processing (for example under GDPR), we rely on: your consent when you voluntarily submit the enquiry form; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping the website secure; and compliance with legal obligations such as tax, accounting or regulatory record-keeping. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, without affecting processing that already took place.

Cookies and consent

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and no cookie consent banner is shown because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary: a short-lived, first-party security cookie (bs_csrf) that helps prevent forged form submissions and cannot be used to track you across sites. Under GDPR and similar frameworks, strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements, which is why none is requested. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google when a page loads; no advertising identifier is set as a result.

Sharing

Enquiries are handled by BARSPAN personnel across our delivery markets (United States, Canada, the Netherlands and India). We may share information with service providers who help us run the website and email, under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International transfers

Because we operate across several countries, information you submit may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and India. Where a transfer requires a specific safeguard under applicable law (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the European Economic Area), we use that safeguard with the service providers involved. We take reasonable steps to protect information wherever it is handled.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — typically for the life of a resulting engagement plus a limited period afterward for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes — and delete or anonymize it once that period ends. We protect it with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transmission, access limited to personnel who need it, and rate-limiting on the enquiry form to reduce abuse.

If a data breach occurs

If we become aware of a security incident that creates a meaningful risk to personal information we hold, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain and remediate it, and notify affected individuals and any regulator we are legally required to notify, within the timeframe that applicable law requires (for example, without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware, for incidents falling under GDPR).

Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA or India's DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To make a request, email info@barspanitsolutions.com with the right you want to exercise and enough detail for us to locate your information (such as the email address you submitted). We aim to acknowledge requests within 5 business days and to resolve them within 30 days, or to explain any delay, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
